Pumpkins are so much more than just a fun holiday decoration. Not only are they one of the best-known sources of beta-carotene (an antioxidant that is converted to vitamin A in the body), but pumpkins are loaded with fiber, potassium, and vitamin C. On October 26 do yourself a favor and eat a hearty helping of pumpkin to celebrate National Pumpkin Day (and of course have a little fun carving them).

While no one wants to be away from home, it happens to many of us. I was open to both facilities who offer rehabilitation for a broken hip. MediLodge was very good place for me. All staff were upbeat, pleasant and very compassionate.
Michelle, Bill and Nate set up my personal comprehensive therapy plan with needed equipment. They stayed with me through it all and I leave very confident. Nikki, Head of Housekeeping found clothes to wear since mine were cut off at the hospital. They were clean and labeled. So kind. Beth checked on me each day, she was here and saw to it my needs were met. She left nothing undone…such a positive and “can do” woman.
