"I have lived in this area for 40 years, but I was not aware of Ludington until recently, when I needed therapy for a fractured hip. There were many other people receiving therapy as well at Ludington. The therapy staff was fabulous. They worked me hard, but that was what I was there for. Before I went home, they want to my house to make sure I had everything I needed. I can't believe what they did for me at Ludington in a short time! I don't know if I could have progressed so quickly anywhere else. I am just so happy with everyone here. Not only the therapy staff, but the aids are outstanding! Everyone treated me special and with respect. I think the community should know what goes on at Ludington."

"When I came here I really was not in command of myself. I had trouble getting to the bathroom upstairs. I even had trouble dressing and caring for myself because I was getting weaker and weaker. I could not do the things as I did before. I had trouble and didn't want to admit I needed help. When I came here I didn't expect therapy here at Medilodge of Ludington. I was surprised to see such an athletic program. I was put in a series of therapies. Therapy helped me get around, do more for myself, and I even received a four-wheel walker. Now I am able manipulate myself. I have gotten some of my energy back. Therapy has given me a desire to be useful again."

The care here was good! All the departments have a good relationship. Rehab was excellent---all the CNA's, nurses, and office staff were extremely helpful!

I chose MediLodge of Ludington 4 months ago and it was excellent. The entire Physical Therapy team was great and put me right back on my feet. The staff is very nice and the food is an added bonus.

All of the departments were good. I give them all an A+.

I chose MediLodge of Ludington for myself. The reason why I chose this center is that I wanted to be closer to my daughter. Danielle, the resident advocate, and Amy, the social worker, were great help with any problem I had. They were respectful and kind, great people! Cindy B, CNA, was also very kind, helpful, and super driven.Marisa, Tammy, Mary, Kathryn, Bill- they are the best therapy group around! All of them are respectful, kind, have a lot of compassion for the patients, and help us reach our goals.Other nurses that were great to me were Dan, Mitch, and Billy Sue; they were kind, respectful, compassionate people, explained my medicine to me, and made me feel comfortable.The food was good but cold some of the time. They were short on somethings on the menu. Housekeeping and maintenance workers were very nice!

The therapy department here really stood out and are helping so many people! Everything went well here at MediLodge of Ludington!

Bryce Griffes was admitted for rehabilitation after undergoing spinal surgery. Bryce loved maintaining his lawn, working in his flower beds and home improvement activities at his house. He even bought a brand new car! Bryce's difficulties started in October 2017 after he turned 79 and started having problems with tingling and numbness in his legs and feet. By the end of December, Bryce was declining and started using a walker and was having a hard time getting around and completing activities independently. Bryce was diagnosed with neuropathy. By April 2018 he had sustained numerous falls and was unable to care for himself, and in May 2018 he could not get out of bed. Bryce reached out for a second opinion and underwent surgery for his spinal cord compression on September 4, 2018.The road to recovery was not easy for Bryce. Bryce was dependent for almost all tasks when he initially admitted to skilled services including gait, transfers, and ADLs. During his stay, Bryce received physical and occupational therapy services. Treatment included bed mobility, transfer, gait, and AOL training, balance and strengthening exercises including postural control to increase his overall level of functioning. Bryce exceeded his goals of increasing his independence! When he discharged from skilled therapy service he was independent at four-wheel walker level and went home with his family and dog Otis!

I chose this center because I was not ready to go home yet. Jill stood out to me- She's an awesome aid and she brings joy into the room! Emily, Megan, both so kind and sweet! This building is clean and well maintained.
