“When I came here I really was not in command of myself. I had trouble getting to the bathroom upstairs. I even had trouble dressing and caring for myself because I was getting weaker and weaker. I could not do the things as I did before. I had trouble and didn’t want to admit I needed help. When I came here I didn’t expect therapy here at Medilodge of Ludington. I was surprised to see such an athletic program. I was put in a series of therapies. Therapy helped me get around, do more for myself, and I even received a four-wheel walker. Now I am able manipulate myself. I have gotten some of my energy back. Therapy has given me a desire to be useful again.”
